Introducing Jeroen Kanis, the Partner Program Manager at IFS Ultimo.
Who are you, and what is your role at IFS Ultimo?
I am Jeroen Kanis, 38 years old, and I live in Zwolle (Netherlands) with my wife and two little sons. I started at Ultimo in 2011, and from the start of building our channel in 2020, I have been working in the Channel team – currently as Partner Program Manager. A versatile role where, besides strategically designing, monitoring, and developing our partner program, I spend a lot of time guiding our newest partners through the onboarding and enablement process.
Why do you love working in the IFS Ultimo Channel Team?
The versatility, building relationships with other companies and seeing the power of our partner ecosystem in practice is very satisfying. What I like most is the enthusiasm with which our product is received by the professionals at partners. Over the years at Ultimo, I have become very enthusiastic about the product. It’s great to be able to enthuse people all over the world about this beautiful product. That comes together very nicely with the great culture within the IFS Ultimo organization. We work together with partners according to the Ultimo DNA; it’s great to see that our partners value this culture and way of working.
What can partners expect from you?
I am very passionate about making the channel organization and partner ecosystem we have built since 2020 successful. Partners can expect that energy and drive from me throughout the onboarding and enablement sessions I have with our partners.
We’ve built the partner program around three core principles: We see our partners as our colleagues, we improve continuously (the program, the business, and the individual partner roadmap), and we are driven to get our partners successful (ASAP). These core principles explain very well what the partner may expect from me: working together to turn the potential of our partnership into customer value as quickly as possible.
What do you in your spare time?
I enjoy being with family and friends when I am not at work. I find my relaxation while cycling. I enjoy our beautiful Dutch landscape when I’m on the road on my bike.
