Our roadmap goals for the upcoming years are listed below, and for each theme, you can find more information about what we’re planning to develop during these years.

Easy-to-use EAM for confident asset owners

The core EAM functionality will be improved so that it is easier to maintain your assets and to maximize asset performance. We want to make Ultimo suitable for operators who are executing basic maintenance or inspections by making a separate lightweight and easy workflow. We also want to help mechanics increase their hands-on tool time by making it easier to process jobs and inspection lines.

Easy-to-use EAM for confident asset owners

Improved localisation & enterprise readiness

Ultimo becomes available in more languages. In 2022 Ultimo becomes available in Brazilian Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. Enterprises can work with multiple sites in various countries in one Ultimo. It is possible to share data between sites or companies. A company can work with one master currency, but some costs are displayed in a local currency.

Scaled up on Azure

A focus point of the development effort will be to scale up on Azure. Currently, there are already many customers that benefit from using Ultimo on Microsoft Azure’s cloud platform. It must be possible to run many and large environments with high performance and stability.

Manual update actions only in exceptional cases

The goal is to update all SaaS customers by continuous delivery with minimal downtime. At this moment Ultimo Essentials and Professional environments are updated automatically with bug fixes but also with new features and improvements. We want to apply this also for Premium and Enterprise environments.

Easy to implement, integrate & happy partners

Today we are already working with several implementation and technology partners and we are expecting the number to grow. Therefore it is very important that ultimo is easy to implement and integrate and we are having happy partners. Together with our partners, we can deliver more value for our customers. Our open integration possibilities deliver more value and reduce the number of data sources. We offer a wide range of standard APIs and team up with technology partners to let you get the most out of Ultimo. Focus areas are ERP/Finance, Asset Performance Management, IoT, Track & Trace, Augmented & Virtual reality and BIM.

Modern reporting landscape

The current set of integrated standard Power BI reports will be enhanced based on customer feedback and new reports will be developed. We will modernize our reporting stack, shifting from Crystal Reports to Power BI and our reporting functionality.
