Digital transformation is overwhelming. No matter where in the business you sit, you are faced with pressures to modernize. Maintenance, safety and operations functions are no exceptions.
So, against the backdrop of an ever-changing business landscape, agility and cost control reign supreme. At IFS Unleashed in Orlando, Florida next month, we’ll be shining a light on the technology enablers that sit beneath the business transformation strategies of industrial businesses. We’ve partnered with PWC and MaxGrip to bring you a three-day bootcamp to kick-start your asset management digital journey. As well as insights from tech experts and c-level executives, it will feature sessions from end user organizations Bristol Port and Agristo.
According to analyst firm Verdantix, in heavy industries, “digital transformation has accelerated in recent years, primarily owing to COVID-19 and a renewed focus on sustainability priorities.” This shift is driving increased adoption of industrial software such as enterprise asset management (EAM), as part of an overarching operational excellence initiative. Cost-cutting programs, consolidation of applications, and elimination of data silos are all component parts of these overarching initiatives.
So, we’ve designed a hands-on event to help healthcare, manufacturing and logistics businesses improve their competitive and operational stance as it comes to maturity their asset management strategies.
Designed to elevate EAM excellence, we’ve assembled a diverse group of industry visionaries who will share their wealth of knowledge and real-world experiences. It’s a rare opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, pose questions and connect with specialists.
This will not be a passive experience! There are a series of interactive learning sessions, presentations, assessments and even some road mapping. Here’s a quick overview: –
- EAM Market Trends & Discussions – in this session, leading professional services firm, PWC and trusted advisors in asset performance management, MaxGrip will walk through the important market trends. This includes how topics such as environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations and artificial intelligence (AI) influence the transformation agenda, and how to align people and technology.
- The Importance of EAM – our customer at Bristol Port will explore the factors for selecting the right improvement tools. From future proofing and addressing challenges, to harnessing the power of teamwork.
- EAM Maturity – this ‘ideas’ session explores how to grow in EAM maturity. We start by assessing delegates’ current state of maturity, then go on to collaborate with other attendees to learn from each other’s challenges and processes.
- The EAM vision – bringing a strategic view, IFS Ultimo CEO, Johan Made will talk briefly on the importance of innovation and casts a vision for the future.
- Elevating the role your assets play in operational efficiency – we’ll hear from IFS Ultimo customer Agristo. The frozen potato product manufacturer will draw from its own example, to cover how to assure rapid time-to-value and a single, unified way of working.
- Trends to watch – featuring industrial use cases of AI, this part of the agenda draws upon data from the IFS Ultimo Trends Report, and covers partnering, as well as the scalable and easy to implement UCT (low-code IFS Ultimo tool).
- AI Readiness – this MITcisr session with IFS will deep dive into AI readiness and explore what’s next for those who completed the AI readiness assessment. We’ll share findings from our AI scaling research, including the management of large numbers of AI models, and model interdependencies. Participants will consider how to build their firm’s AI capabilities and examine what scaling AI means for the IT unit, data science talent, and business investments.
- Roadmap, Innovation and Cybersecurity – in this track IFS Ultimo and cyber-physical systems security company, Claroty will talk about cybersecurity impact. For example, using NIS2 and CISA guidelines, cybersecurity monitoring in action, watching for vital signs, and taking the right action at the right time. With real use cases, this session will glimpse into IFS Ultimo’s future with AI, with eyebrow-raising ideas!
- The Importance of Partnerships – is where MaxGrip looks at where asset performance management (APM) meets EAM. This includes the roadmap to set-up an OT-IT integration, the value of strong partner ecosystem in relation to technology, process, and change – with practice examples.
- Round Table Discussion – to explore the bootcamp take-aways and attendees’ pains and gains. We ask the question: where is the low-hanging fruit? We help you sketch your first digital roadmap. Then walk through defining whom needs to be involved (including budget considerations) with transformation programs, identifying the number one goal for the next quarter, and defining the help and support needed in the follow-up phases.
Our goal here? To empower you on your journey to digital transformation and EAM maturity. The bootcamp will run 14th-16th October 2024, at Marriot World, Orlando, Florida. Book your seat here. For information about similar bootcamps in the future contact me here.
