For more than 20 years Omninecs has positioned itself as an ally for digital transformation. The company has helped customers such as Dimar to implement advanced market solutions, with integration and ad hoc software development, in enterprise asset management (EAM), enterprise service management, business continuity management, systems engineering and facility management.
The team at Omninecs is a mix of experienced professionals and new talent that has worked hard to create a collaborative culture. In our latest Q&A, we chatted with Sergio Magone, Sales Manager at Omninecs for his insights.
What makes Omninecs and its services stand out?
Our depth of experience with industrial businesses, and within the EAM/CMMS space. The business processes and operational practices in asset intensive organizations require expert technological platform design, implementation, roll out and support.
How is Omninecs working together with IFS Ultimo?
We strongly believe that organizations are bringing their strategic assets back to center stage. For too many years, they have been a side consideration, focused on costs and accounting, with the control of their true lifecycle lost.
A great EAM system, like Ultimo, can serve as the common denominator for recovering value from assets and their operations. This fosters a shared and collaborative culture within the involved departments, as well as promoting the diffusion of a more safety and quality related approach.
We see Ultimo as the perfect common denominator and believe that combined with our expertise can help organizations to become truly be successful.
What were your key takeaways from our partner event in September 2024?
Ultimo’s progress with its partner program is impressive. The Nexus Summit was a valuable opportunity to network, but we also came away with some very clear messages.
- The New Channel Strategy. Cognizant of the role of partners in its global growth strategy, the Ultimo ecosystem has almost doubled in the last year, and there’s a strong focus on business processes, and tools and weapons for us to use
- Bold vision. We enjoyed hearing what’s next in Ultimo’s product and technology evolution roadmap
- Success stories. Ultimo demonstrates how it is possible to get results with a focused and dedicated approach.
Why do you think you won the 2024 Rising Star Partner of the Year award?
We got a complete set of technical and sales certifications in a very short time, which I think demonstrates our commitment and our motivation to working with Ultimo.
What can you say about your experience in the EAM space?
We have been working in this space for a very long time, so we really understand, not only the EAM applications but also how organizations have to face the lifecycle of assets and services.
We have a depth of experience in across the energy & utilities, oil & gas, travel & transport and life sciences sectors, where operation efficiency is not enough, and regulatory health and safety constraints represent a real challenge for customers.
What made you choose to collaborate with IFS Ultimo?
Our historical relationship with IBM is affected by their technology, product, and sales related strategies, so we wanted a complementary solution to position ourselves into the local market (which is characterized by small and medium sized organizations), in a more flexible, easy-to-use and economically sustainable way. All, of course, while guaranteeing maintenance best practices.
What plans do you have with IFS Ultimo?
Our 2024 investments in Ultimo demonstrate our belief and commitment in it, and we plan to underscore the brand equity in our local market.
That’s why we are embarking on a digital marketing campaign (dedicated to specific manufacturing and logistics sectors) as well as improving our communication strategy. We believe this will allow us to start to introduce Ultimo into the local market effectively.
